The Residential Treatment and Recovery Program offers a continuum of care for persons with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders at short (less than 90 days) and long-term (more than 90 days) treatment intervals. It is a structured program following or concurrent to medical detoxification, stabilization, or a step up in treatment intensity of a traditional outpatient treatment program. The model offers an extended care program that appropriately transitions clients back to a life of recovery through a reintegration system that focuses on identifying and overcoming the underlying causes of drug dependence. This is accomplished through robust psychological interventions, social and life skills development for daily living. Participants manage the affairs of the facility as a form of green care therapy (gardening, cleaning, laundry etc). Above all, the residential and aftercare programs are domestications of the International standards for the treatment of drug use disorders.
